I have a critical decision to make, which is really stressing me out, and I'd appreciate some input.
I'm trying to decide whether to A, start going to school for my Bachelors in Computer Science, or B, join the PSNS Apprenticeship.

I will now list the pro's and con's of both.

BA in CompSci:
-Pro:
:: Get payed well to do what I love.
:: According to BLS, the Comp Sci industry is expected to grow 37 percent from 2006 to 2016, much faster than average for all occupations. That means, I won't have a problem with finding a job. Unless companies start outsourcing

-Con:
:: 4 years of full time schooling, which will most likely leave me without a job. I will not do part time school, part time job, as I want to get it done as fast as possible (I would be 26 when I graduate...)
:: It will be very math intensive. It's not like I don't enjoy math, I just have a harder time with it than other subjects.
:: I'm worried about Comp Sci jobs getting outsourced in the future, though it's really not a problem as of now. Nothing is stopping it from happening, though. That's what happened to Drafting, which was the other career I was considering. Due to outsourcing, there is virtually no drafting jobs available in WA.
:: Computer Science employers often expect you to know quite a few languages, which is daunting. I miss the old days where you could get away with knowing only two.
:: This industry changes rapidly, you have to stay on top of your shit all the time, which I'm afraid may really drain me. I hate change. Why can't we just use C and Perl for the rest of computing's life? Seriously, that would be golden.
:: Four years still living with my parents...

PSNS Apprenticeship:
-Pro:
:: Money money money, off the bat.
:: Free school
:: I will be able to move out, finally
:: Job security
:: Great benefits
:: I could possibly transfer to Pearl Harbor

-Con:
:: It's not what I love
:: I haven't gotten into the apprenticeship, though I have quite a few sources that can possibly help me get in.
:: If I don't get in, I have to wait until Spring quarter to start school

As you can see, I have a decision to make. What would you guys do in my situation? The reason I'm trying to figure this out so urgently is that if I do decide to go the Comp Sci route, I need to sign up for classes ASAP. Or wait until Spring quarter...
